Älmhult Montessori School caters to students from preschool to grade 6. We are located in the premises of Klöxhult School in Älmhult.

Our school is inspired by Montessori pedagogy and operates according to governing documents. Here, students from preschool to grade 6 develop in a stimulating and safe environment where learning occurs both independently and in interaction with others. We work in age-mixed groups, which creates opportunities for students to develop at their own pace, inspire each other, and learn through collaboration. By combining the individualized approach of Montessori pedagogy with the goals of the curriculum, we create a learning environment where each student can grow and develop based on their own conditions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an engaged teacher who wants to inspire and support students in their language development. As a teacher of Swedish and Swedish as a second language for grades 1-6, you will work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment where each student has the opportunity to develop their knowledge. You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in close collaboration with colleagues and base your work on governing documents to ensure high quality in teaching.

The position is 50 percent and temporary, allowing you to combine it with other assignments or studies.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with qualifications in Swedish and Swedish as a second language for grades 1-6. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and the ability to create engagement and safety in the classroom. We value flexibility, good collaboration skills, and a genuine interest in supporting students' language development.
